What are unresolved references and how do I keep them from corrupting my corridors?
We work more in a federated environment with the mix of references and models containing dependent information. You can rule corridors to elements from other models or reference files. If these files are moved or somehow become corrupt, the rule to the elements in the reference file can't find the solution and resolve the rule. So it is an unresolved reference because you are trying to solve to something the program can't find. We have to be careful when working with reference files and how we save the files or even work with elements within the files. If you make copies of an element which rules a corridor and delete the original, it loses the link to the guid of the element and now the corridor is defined to be ruled by an element that no longer exists.
Make sure the dgn files that are used as references are located in the correct path so the corridor can process any rules associated to it and find the solution.
Some times the reference needs to be recreated or re-referenced:

Use "Civil Display Browser" keyin followed by the medicine kit tool to fix unresolved references
Is there any way to determine what reference is unresolved? I am getting the "Corridor has an unresolved reference" message, and cannot manipulate the corridor at all.
I have found that keying in "civil display browser" and using the "medical kit" icon will usually resolve the references.
