ORD & Command Line Switches

Hi Mike,

Yes, ORD does honor command line switches. Would you provide an example of one you're having trouble with?

-WCP:\Worksets\Corporate.cfg

Also, _USTN_DISPALYALLCFGVARS = 1 isn't working in this badboy!

_USTN_DISPLAYALLCFGVARS = 1 isn't needed anymore.  Just go to File>Show Configuration Values in the Configuration Variables dialog and all the variables show when the text editor is opened.

No changes to the other command line switches, below is a pic of the options when you run the OpenRoadsDesigner.exe with a "-?"

Thanks Kevin!  That was the missing link.  Got everything running smooth now.

Hello, couple years later, but same question. For some reason when I put in -wc<pathname>\.cfg, I get the message that the config file doesn't exist, even though it's there. Do you have an idea why this might be? 

Asking a new question in such an old thread has a slimmer chance of being answered than if you had started a new thread. ESPECIALLY as this topic has been 'Verified' and therefore (to me) closed.

But since I am here - Why is there no name to the cfg file after the '\'? Is the file called '.cfg'??

I blurred out the details, but the full path / command in the shortcut is as follows:

"C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition\OpenRoadsDesigner\OpenRoadsDesigner.exe" -wcE:\02 Projects\_Resources\_SBB\Bentley\FunctioneelBeheer\Beheer.cfg

It appears to open and then at some point it shows this error:

Needless to say, it DOES exist and is in that exact same place on the networkddrive, but it just doesn't seem to work.

Enclose the path to th cfg in double quotes. Its reading everything after the space as a dgn file to open.

The "02 Projects" space is the issue Chuck is pointing out. Just to highlight it.
