Node is getting compressed in SUE

Hi,

When I place the nodes with reference of terrain surface and connecting those nodes with conduits some of the nodes are getting compressed. Please do let me know how to resolve it. Attached is the example. Actual size of the node is at left side and the compressed one is at right side. Thanks

  • Hi Ravikumar. Your post was a long time ago, and I don't know if you are still having this problem, but here's a possible explanation.

The height of a node is controlled by the top elevation, which in your case comes from a terrain model, and the bottom elevation, which is the minimum depth of a node when it is placed, and relative to the pipes when they are connected. The bottom cell for a node normally includes a flowline point - a construction class, linestyle 5 point, and this can sometimes be positioned above the base of the node so that the node has a sump, below the pipes.

I can't tell from your picture, but I am wondering whether you have used two different feature definitions here - one for each node - and the one on the left is set up to create a sump?
