Hi.
I have created a pipe template with parametric radius. This template is created with the origin at the center of pipe.
Some times I need to apply the template based on bottom of pipe (BOP) or top of pipe (TOP).
I assumed that I just could right click the BOP point and select "Change Template Origin". However this does not work well combined with parametric radius. It just keeps the parametric value set in Designer.
The Template is created with Radius set at 0.25. The applied corridor has a Radius of 0.5.
My current workaround is to apply a point control at the center of pipe, but I would like to know if anyone has any tips that enables me to solve this only with ONE parametric constraint and no point control.
XSection result when I am using "Change Template Origin". The bottom of pipe should be at 0,0.
I was not able to attach the itl-file. Please use this link if you would like to test the template.

Try constraining the Center_1 point to BOP after you have set BOP as the Template Origin. I did this, and did not need a Point Control.

Thanks.
Could you please show me what kind of constraint you are using? I tried setting a Vertical constraint from Center_1 to BOP, but this is denied due to constraint recursion.

I set BOP to None, and Center_1 to Angle Distance with Parent set to BOP, angle zero, radius 0.25.
