How do you get back to the Point Properties dialog when it becomes hidden? When another application takes the focus away from the Point Properties modal window, it gets lost and I cannot figure out how to get back to it.
Hi Keith,
Are you referring to the dialog box seen in the picture below? If so, would you elaborate on the phrase "application takes the focus away from the Point Properties modal window"? What are you doing to take away the focus? Please advise. I cannot do anything to make this dialog box disappear except to hit the "close" button.

Yes, that is the dialog. My email notifies me with a popup and it can cause the focus to be taken away. Then, I cannot Alt-Tab or use any keystrokes to get back to it or close it. Additionally, MicroStation does not even show up in the Alt-Tab menu.
This almost sounds like it could be a Windows issue.
Does pressing Esc close the hidden dialog?
Also, sometimes you can use the Alt+Spacebar to activate the control menu (upper left corner) and then press M (for Move) and then use one of the arrow keys to start the Move command. After that, the dialog box will actually be attached to your mouse cursor and can be placed somewhere with a left mouse button and at that point, you are back in business.

I have positively identified the problem. If I am using the "browse for point" button when an incoming email message arrives and steals the focus, I get locked up.
