Due to a client upgrading their software I have had to convert a corridor I created in SS2 corridor modeling to SS4.
Everything seems to be running fine in plan view but I'm running into a couple problems with regards to the cross sections.
1. When I draw the cross sections most of the x-sec cells have a base elevation of 0 (some even have it at -5) while my design is around 3150. Only about 20 out of my 160 sections have base elevations close to where my design/existing ground are. This isn't a huge issue but for formatting reasons it would be nice if I could get the cells have base elevations closer to where the design is.
2. When I go to annotate the proposed sections I get no options for things to annotate in the Points, Features or Segments. The Crossing Feature windows in the various tabs are all blank.
I'm new to SS4 so any suggestions on how to fix either issue would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Nate,
Are you working a 3D dgn or a 2D dgn? Often times users will see what your describing in your number one if they have horizontal elements in their 3D model. I would inspect your model to see if you have elements at this elevation. As far as number two, did you make sure that you had the cross section set model selected? If you attach your files, I will look to see what you are describing.
