I'm trying to get component quatities for my Milling and Leveling & Wedging components. They display fine in cross sections, but when I use Roadway Designer Component Quantities they do not compute.They are "on top" of each other in the template. Could that be the problem? Could it be a style issue? As far as I can tell they are closed shapes. Inroads SS2 8.11.07.615 Thanks for help and suggestions.
I don't believe I have seen this type of output in the Component Quantities. It is as if there wants to be a volume quantity reported but the value isn't showing. The issue should not be that the components are on top of each other. I have a sample overlay/milling/wedging corridor I created and the milling/wedging both display a volume and they lay on top of each other in the template.
What happens if you display the cross sections from the generated surface and report on the quantities through the End Area Volumes command? Does it report on volumes from the surface components?
