I created a new 2d file to create cross-sections in ORD. When attempting to "add boundary", I get the following error message
A Civil 3D model must exist in order to create Civil Cross Section boundaries
What prep work do I need to do prior to cutting sections. Is there a seed file for cross-sections?
Thanks,
Have you cut sections in Ss4?
You need a default model with the Open Roads model containing files attached as it wants to define sections in a 3D model with graphics to cut.
ORD is more advanced than Ss4, but the workflow and concept is very similar.

No, we are skipping over Openroads 4.0 and going straight to ORD.
The Openroads model is the corridor file? and attached as a reference file?

The Name Boundaries get created by copying the corridor file and renamed it to a Cross-Section file for the corridor. BUT, the create drawing icon will not come up to create the sections and plot files. It is checked on in the name boundary area. I am using the Training Imperial Workspace delivered by the product.
