ORD - "A Civil 3D model must exist in order to create Civil Cross Section boundaries"

I created a new 2d file to create cross-sections in ORD. When attempting to "add boundary", I get the following error message

A Civil 3D model must exist in order to create Civil Cross Section boundaries

What prep work do I need to do prior to cutting sections. Is there a seed file for cross-sections?

Thanks,

  • The Name Boundaries get created by copying the corridor file and renamed it to a Cross-Section file for the corridor. BUT, the create drawing icon will not come up to create the sections and plot files. It is checked on in the name boundary area. I am using the Training Imperial Workspace delivered by the product.
