&lt;p&gt;In order to get this surface, you can use the &amp;quot;Compute Terrain Model from Design Meshes&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The &amp;quot;trick&amp;quot; is to de-activate temporarily other &amp;quot;Design&amp;quot; Feature Meshes from your model before computing the mesh.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The workflow is explained at minute 00:21:28 in the Milling Webinar delivered last month&lt;/p&gt;
