Hi. I try to do stationing It can be done with native Inroads "View>Stationing". I wonder how to do stationing using feature definitions. I watched introductory video about Linear Features. In the tutorial, "Geom_Centerline" is selected before drawing. When I do it, just direction and distance information are displayed on the alignment.
Video's screenshoot:
version: Inroads ss4
This may be the video you are referring to but I wanted to include it just in case. It goes through the process and options.
When you assign the feature definition to the geometry, it is linking back to the native XIN preferences for the View Stationing command and the View Annotation commands. So the stationing should come from the native InRoads - Geometry > View Stationing command with a saved preference that matches the feature definition name. Go to the View Stationing command and click on the Preferences at the bottom to see if you have a saved preference called Geom-Centerline so it can link the FD you are assigning to the geometry to the stationing command.
