Hi everybody
I am desperately trying to export out my ConceptStation file to OpenRoads Designer to work on it further and with more tools. I followed the instructions on the wiki on exporting but I get an "export failed" error on just the .ird template drop file. Everything else says it exported without a problem, but that template drop file is pretty important...If I can't get it to work, I am pretty much back to square one and have lost days of work.
When I try to import the .ird file into OpenRoads Designer, I get an unexpected error that an "unexpected end of file has occurred. The following elements are not closed: Corridor, RoadwayDesigner, InRoads, Line 1, position 3942445".
I really need help on this issue. Do I uninstall and reinstall ConceptStation? Is there something wrong or damaged in the ConceptStation file that needs changed? Any advice would be helpful. I have attached screenshots of the error messages
Hi Sean,we have seen a similar issue recently and a correction will be available in our upcoming update 6 release. However, your problem might very well be different. I'd like to review your dgndb so we can try to reproduce your issue. Could you upload your dataset to the Bentley FTP? https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r7f975ce541641d28
thanks,
Simon
Did anyone get that issue resolved? I'm having the same problem, almost 3 years from the start of this forum, therefore, my message states the the error is on line 1, position 1. I really needed to hand in this project today, It looks like the communication between ConcepStation and OpenRoads Designer is not reliable. I will have to redo a week's work in a day, I'm totally disappointed on both softwares.
Please upload your zip dataset using this link and I will have a look. https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r140a9a47fb940e09
Done.
Your dataset is just the Export, so your problem is with Importing into ORD and not Exporting with Conceptstation, correct? I can't help with the ORD import, but I can try to find someone who can. Which version of ORD are you using?
