Is there a way of updating a cross section set? In previous versions of Geopak, the cross section cell could be retained so that new runs could be processed. In InRoads, the cross section set could be updated or new DTMs added. It seems to me that OpenRoads can only create a new model each time cross sections are created.
Yep, you are correct. With SS4/OpenRoads, there is no way to update cross sections. You can only re-cut them and create a new model.
I dislike this immensely, but that's just how it is now.

In ORD, the sections are updated from changes to the corridor automatically, But you will have to re-annotate the sections.

Well, at least that would leave our references & plot sets intact...
I am afraid I do not understand. Are you referring to Connect Edition? I am using SS4. The only command I know to use is Create Cross Section, which creates a new model each time it is run.
I believe that Joe is talking about the Connect Edition of OpenRoads.
SS4 definitely does not update cross sections.
I don't know what your company and client standards require, but SS4 was a "step" on the way to the current OpenRoads Connect product. If it is feasible, you may want to consider upgrading to that - from what I understand, it's a more complete version of what was begun with SS4.
