Hi
We're looking to migrate from MX to OpenRoads Designer at some point in the near future. However I have noticed the current release has no templates, civil cells or superelevation files for the UK DMRB standards. Also the templates provided do not comply with IAN184/16 for implementing BIM on Highways England or Transport Scotland Schemes. We are transitioning from a point where we have not used any of the OpenRoads tools within SS3 or SS4, so have no templates we can migrate either. It looks like it will be a huge undertaking to develop all the libraries from scratch.
Are there any plans to include theses in a future release?
Thanks
Stewart.
Hi Stewart
I'll contact you offline to discuss your specific requirements, what we have available and how to achieve what you need.

I would also like a solution to this - we are currently looking at switching to OpenRoads Designer from civil 3D and need similar uk templates. Could someone from bentley, Simon or other contact me also? Many thanks, Mark
I have just seen a UK workspace released online in Software Downloads as of a couple of days ago - worth a look?
