I'm trying to place nodes using GP Drainage. I am new user, so this may be a simple fix. I'm trying to reference my .tin for elevations, but when I place my node it says "unable to compute TIN elevations". I know my .tin exists and is in the correct location because I can use the Height/Slope Analysis tool in the DTM tools and it finds the elevations just fine. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
Sometimes you have to reselect the TIN in the Node Configuration dialog and then switch the elevation option to something else like user supplied and then switch it back.

Unfortunately, that was one of the first things I tried, and it did not fix it.Let me add another nugget of info; though I don't know if it will help: At one point it was picking up the elevations, but they were about 30' lower than the true elevation. I then switched to reference the PGL and that's when it broke. Now I can't get it back to reading the elevations at all.
If you are working on a network then possibly you could test by copying the necessary files (DGN, TIN, GDF, DLB, CEL) to a local temp folder. Then set up the preferences to read the files and then go back to the node dialog and select the TIN and try it again.
