I've recently noticed that often (but not always!) after I have exited the program, a Power InRoads process will stay in memory until I "End Task" in Task Manager. For our customers it represents a real problem because they are trying to write to hundreds or even thousands of DGNs in a series of batch processes, typically overnight or over a weekend. Sitting there and killing processes with Task Manager isn't practical for them.

RE: Power Inroads process persisting after closing?

I never found a solution.
Do you "Exit" or "Close" InRoads? Exit should end the process. I'm not familiar with GEOPAK doing this frequently but I am researching for you.

Thanks,
