We are Running Power InRoads 8.11.09.845 (SS4).
I've recently noticed that often (but not always!) after I have exited the program, a Power InRoads process will stay in memory until I "End Task" in Task Manager. This doesn't seem to be caused solely by crashing (my computer has been suspiciously crash-free today), although I'm sure having more than one process in memory (when I re-open InRoads) does contribute to the crashing.I remember that Geopak would do this fairly frequently, but I didn't notice this behavior with InRoads SS2
Has anyone else noticed this, or is this just my computer? What can I do to make sure all processes close when I exit the program?
I cannot wait until we update to .878...
Hi Mary,
Do you "Exit" or "Close" InRoads? Exit should end the process. I'm not familiar with GEOPAK doing this frequently but I am researching for you.
Thanks,
Sanders

Close means to close files. Exit means to Exit the program. Or am I confused?I just go to File -> Exit. Is there something else I need to do before that?

We are seeing the same thing using Power GEOPAK. So is our customer and it is causing batch processes to hang.
I have the same problem with Openroads and PowerInroads SS2
I never found a solution. I just ended up making a habit of going to the Task Manager to end the process.
