Hi
Where can I edit horizontal annotation for alignment. What i want is to have the station appear 10, 20, 100, 200 etc. Not 5+100
I have OpenRoads Designer Connect 10.00.00.120

You need to add a new text favorite and select the desired station format / delimiter.
Next this favorite can be used in Annotation Group (Manage Annotation Group) for Station Labels Major (or Minor if required)

In MX, we always had the Display - Plan with Tools menu bar. This allowed us to annotate any string with any type of annotation without having to edit the style set. However in ORD, we have to go through the whole process of setting up an annotation group, and attach it to the feature definition, then display the annotation. Then to revert back to the standard annotation styles, we need to edit the feature definition again.
It would be an easy enough task, if a bit time consuming, to create a series of standard annotations in the usual ORD workflow. But is would be useful if we could attach these temporarily to a feature, without having to change the feature definition.
For me, the worst part is having to specify an element template on the annotation. This means I cant re-use annotation groups across different feature definitions, as the element templates don't match. It would be much more useful if we could set the annotation to take the same element template as the parent feature.
But what I really miss is the mx mini window. Simply hover over a string and get the feature and get the model/string/Feature Def/Point/xyz/Chainage/Bearing/Radius of any point on a feature. Sadly all we get in ORD is the feature name, definition and level.

Hi Huberttusb, thanks for your respons
I have however problem to find which dgnlib you use to create this new favorit style.
I can see that annotation group (use a favorit style called Major station, but I cant find it in the diverse dgnlib´s .
You can make your changes in the actual dgn but in that case you have it in actual dgn only. It makes more sense to do this in Dgnlib (Feature Definitions...dgnlib) to have it available for future use.
Annotation Groups and Text Favorites are both in Feature definitions Dgnlib.
I cant find this Stationing Format in Text Style list in Feature Definition.dgn
If you go to my first post you may notice that I said you have to add a new Text Favorite first before you can use it in Annotation Group Manager.
I'm aware that this complex work flow can not be described with 2 sentences/pictures. You should go through training in http://learn.bentley.com/app/Public/ViewLearningPathDetails?lpId=111346 to get a full picture.
