I have one Standard Preference defined with CIVIL_XIN_FILE variable for the Corridor Model>Create Cross Section. Users open the dialog, then load the preferences. When the dialog initially opens, there are "preference" already pre-defined.
Is it possible to "auto" load our standard preference?

Delete everything under the 8.11 folder

I deleted as you requested. Still when I open the Create Cross Section dialog, I have to go to Preference and select the one-and-only preference. By default, the dialog opens with Left Offset set to -100.00 and Right Offset set to 100.00
Is there a way I can control how the default dialog opens? Again I have a single preference that has to be loaded each and every time.

You should be able to save the preferences in you xin. Maybe the location of the xin is a folder that is read only. You can try and change the location and adjust the variable.
