I thought I would put this by you guys, since you have been so helpfull in the past.

My client wish to have information about pipe and manhole dimensions in the 3D file we deliver.

The way we create the 3d model, is by refering the 3d

RE: Keeping information about nodes, conduits etc, when exporting from SUE model to 3D

Hey Thomas. Thank you for your suggestion. I tried creating an I-model, and behold! The information is in the model. I am pretty new to designing with Bentley software, and CAD overall. I think I will have to look in to a way to only have the 3D model from my SUE being exported (Clients will be clients, and they wan't both a 2d and 3d model file seperately) and still keep the information about the dimensions for my model.

But thanks to you I'm now a step closer to satisfying the client (for now anyways). So thank you a ton for your help

RE: Keeping information about nodes, conduits etc, when exporting from SUE model to 3D

Hi Jan,

Creating an i-model will allow you to retain SUE information and deliver this information to your client. Below is a link to creating i-models that will assist with this process.

https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/27478/how-to-create-an-i-model-from-a-dgn-with-civil-data

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
