Hi all. I thought I would put this by you guys, since you have been so helpfull in the past.
My client wish to have information about pipe and manhole dimensions in the 3D file we deliver.
The way we create the 3d model, is by refering the 3d part of the SUE file, and then merge into master. However, when doing so I can no longer see information about pipes and manholes in element information. The contractors would like to be able to view the information which is understandable.
So my question is: Is there a way to keep information such as: Pipe size, manhole diameter, etc. when refering the 3d part of the sue file into the 3d model file. Perhaps a way to keep the information about the cells or something like that. I will add a screenshot of now, and what would be super to have in the future.
Hi Jan,
Creating an i-model will allow you to retain SUE information and deliver this information to your client. Below is a link to creating i-models that will assist with this process.

I hope this helps.
Thanks,

Hey Thomas. Thank you for your suggestion. I tried creating an I-model, and behold! The information is in the model. I am pretty new to designing with Bentley software, and CAD overall. I think I will have to look in to a way to only have the 3D model from my SUE being exported (Clients will be clients, and they wan't both a 2d and 3d model file seperately) and still keep the information about the dimensions for my model. But thanks to you I'm now a step closer to satisfying the client (for now anyways). So thank you a ton for your help
