I'm having problems with the conditional display rules within a template drop. I've created a template for a dual carriageway with slip road tapers on each side. I've set the display rule that the slip road lanes will be displayed when the slip road is present, and to hide the mainline hard strip/verge/earthworks. However the trimming seems to go wrong when I do my template drops. At station 209+820 the eastbound slip road ends taper ends, but the display rule is killing off the components and linear features within the next template drop at this station.
Try adding a key station just beyond 209+820. It has a hard time connecting when you have less points from one drop to the next when you loose a component as you are. This has been a long standing issue and the workaround was to add a key station just after where you are turning off the display rule.

I have the same problem as described above.
I've created one template with a lot of display rules to avoid using multiple templates. With all those rules I get a lot of gaps where the display rule is killing off the components and linear feautures. I had some response earlier to make a transition, but in order to make a transition i need two templates, right?
Beebe Rays answer works as to minimize the gap to how close you can place two key stations to each other, but the main problem ("cut off" components and linear feautures) still remains.
