ORD Update 2 - Line Between Points Rule

Are you suppose to lose the ability to type a length and direction for a line after you have trimmed to an element??

So draw a line (Line between Points) Then Simple Arc from element and trim back.  Now the line loses its ability to type length and/or direction.

Seems buggy....

  • It doesn't seem right that the arrows are live when the text that is circled is locked.  This changed in Update 2.

  • Robert, it is the same in profile. However when geometry is joined into complex you can not select intervals to edit slopes/ Do you know what is the reason for such performance? How to edit slopes in complex profile.

also I have horizontal complex where I can not select intervals. It is not a rule for horizontal but looks it allways happens to verticals.

    Can you advise?

    thanks

  • Are you referring to the fact that the interval portion of the complex is grayed out?  If so that is WAD.  What you are seeing is actual length/slope in the complex element (notice the length shown in the actual length of the interval, not the base element).  To edit the grade or length of the interval elements hover over the complex, then right click once.  This will allow the selection of the base element for manipulation.

    Hope this helps.
