For example, on the earthworks linear feature, it is connecting the cut features together and the fill features together.

I wonder what process was being referred to in Update 3's Help file?

RE: ORD Export - Linear Features Problem

yep, that's the one - but its not a real fix. If it is ticked, DWG exports opened in the Microstation environment don't have gaps joined. I checked in AutoCAD and the same DWG had the gap issue.

I can confirm the previous Merge to Master process now works without needing to drop anymore. Create a new DGN, reference in the model you want and turn levels you don't want off. Merging will give you a DGN without gaps and exports fine to DWG in MS and AutoCAD. They fixed something to do with string gaps, but not sure what?

RE: ORD Export - Linear Features Problem

I can only find one "Save Application Data" setting.

The only way I can get a Native export out is to create a new blank dgn, reference in the Default-3d model, merge to master (to remove civil data). Then select all complex chains and drop complex (only).

A bit messy, but it works. You can then export this to dwg, etc.

The next issue I have is GENIO exports joining up all gaps as well.

RE: ORD Export - Linear Features Problem

Stewart
