Hi
I wonder if anyone of you has issues with a preview pane when working with the annotation groups for a frame under the profile and with the profile's grid. I get the preview displayed randomly. Sometimes it is enough to restart ORD, sometimes I need to restart PC and in some cases, nothing helps. I tried to resize preview pane to get it refreshed, I selected fit view, etc. No success. And then, randomly I restart ORD and have it working for some time.
What may cause this kind of performance? GPU? some Windows graphic related settings? I have no clue. An without preview setting up annotation groups is a pain.
Preview works fine for: plan, XS, profile linear annotations. Only for grid and the frame under the grid it misbehaves.

ORD update 2
Any help is warmly welcomed.
Adam
Update: it looks now my ability to have preview for profile grid and frame is permamently lost. Switchin gon of ORD, changing files, workspace - nothing helps.
I noticed that when in preferences I change design model background colour it is changed in all preview pane (for plan, cross-sections, linear profiles) but not for profiles in Drawing subfolder for Annotation groups in Explorer.
Do you know any workaround to have this display preview working? Really like this new approach for annotating but learning curve without having display preview gets much longer.
I am not crazy, I am sure I saw the preview.I had this preview working in the beginning, have created our own frame for profile... is there a way to reset memory, some local user related files?
Hi Adam
I am struggling to create a Profile Frame in ORD,similar to one as you have been working with. Is there a work around (guidelines) from Bentle or are we on our one in this matter?

Hi Adam,
i have the dame problem with the Profile annotation. Did you solve it?
Sigfus Jonsson Erik Van Dam no workaround to have display back. My workaround was to define Annotation Group in a dgn file with geometry, I annotated model to verify annotation definition. Annotate model again, and again. and when I was satisfied with the outcome I exported Annotation Group to xml and imported to my dgnlib. I used external dgn as I didn;t want to mess in dgnlib library.
I think it is sorted out in Update 3.
