Geopak Drainage warning message: links having coincident end points

What does this message mean? for example, Link 1 is from Node 1 to Node 2 and Link 2 is from Node 2 to Node 3. Link 1 and Link 2 do share the common node of Node 2, but why I got this warning - Link 1 and Link 2 have coincident end points?

  • One way to do it is - first you draw a line in Microstation that connects the nodes. This is just a graphical item and it doesn't have any hydraulic significance yet. Then you open the Geopak Drainage Navigator, toggle to the Links tab, and edit the appropriate Link ID. In the Link Config Definition window, check the box that says "Use MS Element". Then click on the "ID" button next to it, and go click on the graphical line that you drew in Microstation, and hit Apply.

This way, you've connected the pipes to the connection points of your choice on the nodes, and you've let Geopak Drainage know that these are your new links.
