There is no way to lock the center to center value when you change the connection point. It is a calculated value as is the slope based on the connection point and inverts of the pipe on the inlets.

I believe the quick solution to this would be to maintain separate database SDB files if you need to display the profile in one way but have the stored values for annotations and reports to maintain the center to center pipe lengths. Saving a copy of the SDB and running a query to change the connection point may be the fastest solution to get a database for profile creation and display. This certainly isn't ideal based on your request, but I believe we are limited in the fact that when you change the connection point, it changes the structures.
