Power InRoads Inlet Connection Point - Drainage Model from Sewergems

Question

I have been using Sewergems to export a drainage model to Power InRoads in order to profile it more accurately. Since Sewergems uses a "center" connection point design for all of their structures, when I export it to an InRoads drainage file and open it in InRoads, all of the inlets have a "center" connection point. I have copied some screenshots from the InRoads help menus for reference to how InRoads provides options to change the connection point of a structure. 
 In order to profile my drainage model and have the inlets structure show up (rather than a single line per the "center" connection point), I must change all of the inlets to have a connection point of "inside" or "outside" I used outside and therefore my profiles now show the outside edges of my inlets, based on the size and thickness that I want. This is how I need and want my profiles to look. 
 The problem is, when I changed the connection point in InRoads, it also changes the length of the pipes in my design. These pipes (and their slope and inverts) were designed in Sewergems and need to be held. 
 My main questions are: 
 Is there a way to revise the connection point of structures to "outside", but hold either the inverts or slope locked? 
 I understand that the length of the "pipe" should change when you revise it from going to the center of the structure to the outside edge of the structure vault, but I also want to know if there is a way to revise the connection point, but also hold the length that is displayed as the "center to center" length? Again, this is the length that the Sewergems design model is based off of, and the length that we need to provide to the contractor in our plans. 
 The only reason I want to change the connection point is to make the Profile show the entire inlet structure based on it's dimensions and it's thickness. If there is a way to show the inlet's structure correctly on the profile without changing the connection point, that would also be a solution... 
 Looking at my current model, it seems like the slope is being held and some of the inverts are changing per the new length. This is not what I want. If anything, I want the inverts held and the slope to change per the new length. 
 I am using Power InRoads V8i SS2 (08.11.07.615) and Sewergems for Microstation V8i SS3 (08.11.09.459)

There is no way to lock the center to center value when you change the connection point. It is a calculated value as is the slope based on the connection point and inverts of the pipe on the inlets. 
 I believe the quick solution to this would be to maintain separate database SDB files if you need to display the profile in one way but have the stored values for annotations and reports to maintain the center to center pipe lengths. Saving a copy of the SDB and running a query to change the connection point may be the fastest solution to get a database for profile creation and display. This certainly isn't ideal based on your request, but I believe we are limited in the fact that when you change the connection point, it changes the structures.
