Hi everyone,
I'm a beginner in this forum (and also in using Bentley products) so I apologize if my question has already been discussed before.
I'm trying to import an alignment in landxml format (it comes from another civil engineering software) but the program crashes and it can't finish the import process.
I'm using the "Import Geometry" function within General Geometry Tools menu. The software used is OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition version 10.1.00.15.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Aitana
Hi Aitana
We'd need to see the dataset. The process Geometry>Import Geometry is the correct process, you can select LandXML as one of the data types.
we've had success with it before.
Perhaps you could attach the data to this thread and we'll investigate. What software has this come from ?

Bentley Civil Support
Hi Simon,
Thank you for the help. I had also opened a support request and they have given me the clue to solve the issue: the problem was in incorrect Windows Regional Settings which were causing trouble when importing the xml file.
If this can help to anyone that may have the same issue in a future, I redirect here a previous post about this trouble (for spanish users):
