I want to create a plus 1 foot vertical offset within the profile view. Really, it is for construction purposes, so I want to see the ground profile and the plus 1 foot vertical offset. Is it as simple as using the copy tool or are there specific tools for this purpose? I wonder about the "specific tool" as I may want to make permanent profiles in the same manner later. Can't find any specific tool help on BE Communities, which covers this action specifically.
Which civil product are you using? If it's SS4, there is a "Profile Offset Transition" tool that will allow you to specify 1' offset.
In OpenRoads Designer you might consider the workflow in video: https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/34948/how-to-draw-a-vertical-profile-at-constant-distance-above-ground-surface

Alan & Marcus,
Thanks a bunch! I am learning more and more about the different tools. I'd say I have a 20% of them figured out right now. I wish I had two weeks to just sit and try each an every tool, within OpenRoads. Turns out this one was easier than I thought. Thanks again...
