What causes the end conditions to not intersection the active terrain? I have an active terrain and there is enough room for the end condition to the to the existing terrain. The template end conditions have "check for intersection", "place point at intersection" and "end condition is infinite" checked. However some points connect to the active terrain while other points do not.
Hello Justin, I haven't had any feedback on this issue so not sure if my suggestion was helpful. What I meant is that your corridor calculate cross sections at a defined interval, if you display a cross section between these calculated XS, it's possible that the end-condition doesn't tie accurately to the terrain. Hope my explanation is clear enough.
Marc, could you elaborate on how to fix the issue? I have specific cross culverts that I need cross sections for but I keeping running into the issue as mentioned above.
Hi Arthur, have you checked if the template drop and the cross section intervals have the same multiple? OpenRoads calculates the end conditions at every drop interval and interpolates the value between them. If your cross sections are displayed between these intervals, it can be the reason.
