Incorrect origin of stacked and sheet cross sections.

Using "Create Cross Sections" within Corridor Modeling, the origin of my design cross sections is placed incorrectly when using stacked or sheet cross sections. They are placed incorrectly when a cross section is going thru a vertical curve. When viewing cross sections using "Open CrossSection View" the cross sections are located in the correct location.

  • The first thing which comes to mind would be if these cross sections are cut at the same station as a template drop.  If you are in a vertical curve section and you have the corridor dropping templates which are at different stations than these cross sections, there is interpolation/stroking between the templates.  This can cause the corridor to appear at incorrect elevations, but it is just the stroking from the template drops.

You should check to make sure the templates are getting dropped at the exact stations that the cross sections are created.  You can alter the template drop multiplier or the template drop interval so it will drop the templates more to get a better model.
