Run time error 76

Hi Girish,

I believe you are using MXROAD, it will be helpful if we know what version or build number (Under Help>About MX). If your MX is SelectSeries 3 or 4, try below steps:

Usually this problem occur because your project location is either in Desktop or in C drive with minimal read/write access.

First try this step:

1. Create a new plan display (File>New Plan Display...), give a new name and display your survey model and try again the alignment design. If failed try next step.

2. Close completely MXROAD project and check your UAC (User Account Control) (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts) is set to Never Notify. Click Ok and restart the computer.

If your computer OS is Win 8 or 10, try Run Troubleshoot Compatibility by Right Click MXROAD shortcut and select Troubleshoot Program and tick the 1st (earlier version) and 3rd (require additional permission), click Next and select Window 7, click Next and click Test the program.. once MX start, click next and Finish.

Try again the alignment design.

Thank you so much for the response. I am using select series 4 . I tried all the 3 alternatives suggested by you but unfortunately it didn't work. Is there any other alternative to resolve
