We have a user trying to make some changes to a project using OpenRoads (SS4). He's having an issue where when the corridor processes anything, even a very minor change it takes minutes. He remembers processing taking sometime previously but nothing like this. Anyone from the Bentley Communities has any suggestion's to speed this up? He makes most of the changes at once and then let it process them at once, but it behaves the same way if he makes a single change. It sometimes crashes before completing the processing, but don't know if that is related or just typical OpenRoads.
This is common. As you add more information to the corridor definition (point controls, end condition exceptions, etc.) there are more and more things which must recompute every time something changes. The single best thing you can do is to limit length of any single corridor to less than 2 miles. 1 mile is even better.

Robert,
I am the user, what I ended up finding was several of the external references had been deleted. Removing related point controls has seemed to have solved the problem.
Best,
