When exporting a .DTM for use by our client in InRoads, the exported DTM ends up in metric and not the specified units of US Feet. Short of purchasing InRoads, what is the best way to trouble shoot and/or fix this when exporting to the InRoads .DTM formatted file?
Yes, please get this fixed. I tried using the LandXML workaround, but when I imported to InRoads the triangulation was completely different than my OpenRoads version. the result is all my careful edits in OpensRoads got blown away by the time I got the data back into InRoads.
I think it's best if you transform the dtm exported in meters to feet using the Transform tool under Edit Surface in InRoads. That way you can preserve your edits in OpenRoads.
