In all the tests that I have done, the progran doesn´t recognize as a target aliasing the corridors that are within references. It only recognizes corridors in the main file.
I need to be able to recognize the corridors in references.
Is this possible?
Thanks

What do you mean by "references". Microstation Refferences or Corridor References in a meaning of a Civil Product?
I think corridors will not be present on Target Alliasing list if they are some kind dependent on your working corridor- circural dependencies.

Thanks Adam.
I have my main corridor (corridor A) in a dgn file. (A.dgn)I have a secondary corridor (Corridor B) in another dgn file. (B.dgn)In the main file (A.dgn) I have referenced the file with the secondary corridor (B.dgn) and I want it to use the (corridor B) as target aliasing but it does not detect it
It's possible? I think that this is not a circular reference.
What is the best practice to achieve this?
Thank You
Were you able to find a solution to this problem?
In order to use something as a target alias, you need to add it as a corridor reference first.
When a corridor is attached as a reference, you cannot select it and hence you cannot add it as a corridor reference. Any other suggestions?
Select the component that you are trying to target rather than the corridor. Add that component as a corridor reference then it will show up at the very bottom of the target aliasing list.
I think Jeffrey may be referring to the Corridor Referencing tool under Corridors > Miscellaneous on the Ribbon. You can add Corridor "References" there that are not Reference File attachments. This tool has you select the design meshes of adjacent components from a MicroStation referenced corridor. From there, you can use target aliasing to define as Jeffrey mentioned in the next post.
