Instead of opening, I get the following error message:

That's one thing that missed me in the beginning as well - I first got an instance error trying to process a corridor until I realised i had to open the alignment and upgrade it. Then I lost my end conditions when I processed the upgraded corridor till I realised I had to open my terrain dgn and upgrade that as well. A bit of documentation would be nice lol

btw posted using my work account by accident

RE: Problem opening InRoads SS4 dgn file in new ORD Rel. 3

Sorry, I forgot that the alignment had to be in the active file your working in. I had it referenced in to the SS4 file I had opened in ORD.

RE: Problem opening InRoads SS4 dgn file in new ORD Rel. 3

Thanks Mark. That's great information and worked for me. I agree with Adam, you save a lot of us some time. I've only opened one SS4 file in ORD and I tried to create a profile view from an alignment that was in the file and it seems to not recognize it as an alignment anymore. It's just recognizing it as a complex element. I'll have to play with the SS4 file more to see how well it's working in ORD.

RE: Problem opening InRoads SS4 dgn file in new ORD Rel. 3

Thanks Mark for sharing this.

I got it to work by adding CIVIL_UPGRADE_PROMPT_OFF = 1 to my workspace cfg. Took me a while to figure it out!

RE: Problem opening InRoads SS4 dgn file in new ORD Rel. 3

I am wondering the same thing myself. The "What's New" file for this release states the following: Project upgrade of Civil (SELECTseries 4) data to OpenRoads Designer Update 3 (Technology Preview) .

However, I cannot find any additional information about this, or figure out how to get it to work.
