Is it possible to customize the GEOPAK task lists? For example, on the Cadd Tools Task list, I would like the Linear section to include all of the tools that are included in the Drawing Task's Linear section. The same goes for the Cadd Tools other sections. I often find myself searching for a tool that is normally found in a standard linear or cell or text toolbar, but for some reason are not included in Cadd Tools.
I tried adding tools to the GEOPAK Suite Task list but I am not able to copy tools into the task.
Thanks,

Got it to work just fine with the video. Very good stuff. Thanks
Take a look at the video if you are trying to add Civil Tools to customize Tasks.

Thanks for the information, Robert. I actually had done what you said about editing a copy of the original dgnlib, but I didn't know where to call it via a configuarion file. Now I know. I have stored our customized dgnlib on our server so that everyone who uses GEOPAK in our office now sees the same customized Task List. They can still turn off the display of certain tools that they may not use as regularly.
Thanks again,
Josh is correct. The DGNLIB is in the BIN directory and can be edited to suit. I might suggest that instead of editing the delivered DGNLIB directly to use the following process:
Why? - Just a safety thing in case you forget to save your edits before the next upgrade of Geopak. If you directly edit the GeopakTaskNav.DGNLIB it could be overwritten when you upgrade to next version or reinstall (unless you saved a copy of your edits of course).
Regarding the CADD tools section: It is indeed a subset of what you see on Microstation's main task nav group. The idea was to pull in the most common MS tools so you don't have to keep backtracking to the main task nav as often while also not making the list too large. So what you see is what "yours truly" deemed common and useful.
The good side is that as you now know, the task navigation is completely customizable to suit the needs of your organization.
