I received this message from Bentley support about the Text Favorite Manager.

I had a feedback from my colleagues, because it is a Tech Preview, it has a date timeout. If they set the date on their computer closer to the release of the software it will work again. The best advice would be to upgrade to our latest release.

I was using ORD 2018 rel 4 (ver 10.06.00.38) when it timed out. I suspect it was set to time out around the end on April 2019. I upgraded to ORD 2019 rel 1 (ver 10.07.00.56) and now the Text favorite Manager works as expected.

However, even in 2019 rel 1 Text Favorite Manager is still listed as a Technology Preview. I questioned Bentley about this and they confirmed that it could time out at some point since it is a Technology Preview. Bentley support did not tell me when Text Favorite Manager would be promoted from Technology Preview and made part of ORD.

I was reluctant to upgrade for one feature but I was in the middle of configuring company standards and needed Text Favorite Manager. I don't know how to edit Text Favorites without it. WARNING - I had to upgrade all ORD users. ORD 2018 rel 4 would not open my ORD 2019 rel 1 files. Everybody needs to be on the same version.

I am running ORD 10.04, but I dont have the Manage.. button, I have tried to run the Change option in the install, and even though I can select the Text Favorite Manager as an option, it doesnt appear.

Is there a way around this without upgrading the software from version 10.04?

Found it. Turns out the option for Text Favorite Manager was not selected during the install. I ran the Change option from install and selected the Text Favorite Manager. Now it appears as expected. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, the Text Favorite Manager is in ORD 10.06.

Did Text Favorite Manager make it into ORD Ver 10.06.00.38? I am having the same problem. I cannot access the manager from Text Editor > Text Favorites.

The Text Favorite Manager did not make it in the 10.03.00.43 build
