Hi Everyone,
I've created a custom annotation group loosely based on the default dgnlib supplied by Bentley but when I try to use my custom annotation, it reverts back to the ORD default. Please see the video below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miogE1UjXEM
Why is not displaying the annotation group as defined in the dgnlib?
I have used the same file name as the default file so that I don't have to worry about editing the configuration.
Josh
I would check annotation group definition in your dgn. It looks that once Annotation Group is used in dgn file it is copied to dgn from dgnlib. And when you try to annotate model again it will not update definition from dgnlib but will use one that was previously copied when you annotated model for the first time.
in update 2, I even couldn't delete annotation group in dgn as it was warning me that I can not delete it because it is in use - but I deleted all the annotations first! I ended up with renaming annotation group in dgn file, and then I used one from dgnlib...
I would check annotation group setup in your active dgn.
not necessarily related but the video in the link below provides some helpful info on setup

I can delete the annotation group but when I reload it it still comes through wrong. I've taken to using temp dgn files to check the annotation, once it's correct in a temp file I'll use it in my live files.
Thanks for the link Beebe, I'll check it out
Josh, Did you get this matter resolved? Because I seem to be having the same issue.
