Hi,
Whenever I try to use any command such as horizontal offset partial element or named boundary, etc, the dialogue box does not appear. Does anyone know a fix for it or a reset option. I have tried to reset my settings to default.
Example dialog box of what should appear below:
Thank you,
Sounds like your menus are corrupt. Delete the prefs folder located under c:\users\your login name..\Appdata\Local\Bentley\OpenRoadsDesigner\10.0.0.1. Then restart the software that should fix it.

I found this to be a better solution without needing to delete your preferences:
One thing we do is use the Popset tool to be able to re-centre lost dialogs (that happens all too often). Hopefully this works for you.
1. Search for "Tool Boxes" in the ribbon search and open
2. In the Tool Boxes list, tick "Popset" in the list and click OK
3. In the new icon that appears (a coloured round icon), right-click and select "Settings"
4. In the dialog, make sure "Allow Ctrl + Space When Disabled" is ticked and click OK
5. Now any dialog will reposition to your cursor location when you press Ctrl and Space
We usually dock the Popset Tool Box by default.

I tend to use PopSet as well, but had a user in one of my training courses point out that starting a Place Text command tended to be pretty aggressive at bring back the tool settings dialog.

i have also found this method works as well for missing tool boxes
