Hi,
using Power InRoads SS4 08.11.09.878
using Examples / Bentley-Civil-Imperial workspace
Create Cross Sections.
I was forced to leave out a feature I want marked in the sections, i.e., the existing ROW, left & right. For whatever reason, I was unable to control the scale of the cell, it was being stretched vertically by the Exaggeration factor, and caused the text on the cell to stretch (become unreadable) and then it bumbled my grid, getting way too much grid space. (Previously, it was working fine. Not sure what changed.)
Now I have to still get the ROW cell popped into every section, left and right , but it's time-consuming. Any ideas on this would be much appreciated. I've tried altering the cell scale and the cell name in the element template before creation, but it stretches anyhow, or does not use the new cell from the element template.
What is controlling the stretched cell? I don't want it stretched!

Check the Model Properties of the cell in the .CEL file and make sure that the "Can Be Places as Annotation Cell" is turned OFF. This will prevent it from being scaled when placed. Also, in the Element Template, set the X,Y, and Z values in "Scales" to the same value.
Kevin, I checked and set (OFF) the Model Property of the cell, and reset the Element Template values to 1,1,1 as directed.
I get as you say (no stretch) when Create Cross Section dialog > General > Vertical Exaggeration is set to "1.0000".
When I set it 5x exaggeration as I need (or other than 1x) the cell always stretches. See graphic.
After much experimentation, I've come to the conclusion I should be using the cross section annotation tools after XS creation.
Thanks for the help.
