Hi
I have created a company Annotation Group Profile inside both Drawing Folder (based on Profile Grid) and Linear folder (based on Profile Annotation).
My company Drawing Profile Grid works fine. How ever when I create Named Boundary Profile it keep inserting the orginal Profile Annotation from Linear folder.
How can I let our company profile grid to insert our company Profile Annotation?
Regards
Sigfús
Sorry, but I have not been able to locate where I change Profile Feature Symbology for my profile :-(

Hi again Holly
1. I create vertical geometry with Feature Definition "Geom_Baseline_Driveway" in a designfile
2. I open Feature Definition Metric.dgnlib
Open Explorer, Feature Definition, Alignment...
"Profile Feature Symbology" is Geom_Baseline_Driveway
3. I move down to "Feature Symbology", Profile, Alignment and choose Geom_Baseline_Driveway
4. Right click and choose properties.
I change "Annotation Group" to the group I have created
I have change feature definition as well in Features_Annotations_Levels_Elem Temp Metric.dgnlib the same way as in Feature Definition Metric.dgnlib
...I still get the same old standard profile annotation for my profile
When you use a Feature Definition/Feature Symbology/Annotation Group/Annotation Definition from a dgnlib in your dgn, it copies the information from the dgnlib to the dgn when you first use the Feature Definition. If you make changes in the dgnlib, then open the dgn back up, it will not update the dgn's Feature Definition. That is because it will see that the dgn already has the Feature Definition. If you want the dgn to use the new Feature Definition or Annotation Group, then delete it in the dgn. Reload the dgn and use the feature definition once to reload the changes. If you made changes to the Annotation Group in the dgnlib, you will need to delete the Annotation Definitions that the Annotation Group point to and the Annotation Group. Then when you create a new line with the Feature Definition, it will pull it from the dgnlib.
This video explains this workflow in SS4: https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/18899/video-updating-feature-definitions-from-a-revised-dgnlib. The difference in OpenRoads Designer from SS4 is that the ability to copy from a dgnlib to the dgn is not available. This is why you would have to delete it. This functionality is planned to come in a future release.

That's something that's always really bugged me. Any chance of an enhancement whereby we could sync our dgn to update feature definitions etc from the dgnlib?
