I am getting very frustrated since I have to do this for each corridor I make and its soo non intuitive!

Hope you guys are working on a solution to this problem which was non existent in SS2.

RE: Opening an .itl file from the "Create Template" dialog in V8i SS4 forces me to browse from the root ProjectWise directory instead of the project folder

In our configuration, CIVIL_ROADWAY_TEMPLATE_LIBRARY is set to a (usually) nonexistent file name. File>Open from the Create Template dialog starts in the active design file directory.

Of course, a user could create a template library with that name in which case they'll pay for their mistake by having to navigate to the file they really want!

RE: Opening an .itl file from the "Create Template" dialog in V8i SS4 forces me to browse from the root ProjectWise directory instead of the project folder

The best I could come up with was a configuration variable that specified the template library to load, but even then, InRoads/Open Roads would not check it out. But if I manually checked it out, it would open that file and my edits could be saved and the library checked back in.

This needs to be addressed.

RE: Opening an .itl file from the "Create Template" dialog in V8i SS4 forces me to browse from the root ProjectWise directory instead of the project folder

There is no way to make this setting.
