When running V8i SS4 from ProjectWise, I would like to figure out how to set the "Create Template" File-->Open command prompt to seek my project directory instead of defaulting to the root of the ProjectWise directory. Does anyone have any suggestions?
In SS2, Inroads allowed users to "Set Project Defaults" and the Inroads File-->Open command prompt would go to whatever default ProjectWise directory I set. I've done the same in SS4, but the Create Template dialog box is no longer part of the normal inroads options, so it doesn't recognize that there is a specific location I want to browse to.
There is no way to make this setting.
The best I could come up with was a configuration variable that specified the template library to load, but even then, InRoads/Open Roads would not check it out. But if I manually checked it out, it would open that file and my edits could be saved and the library checked back in.
This needs to be addressed.

In our configuration, CIVIL_ROADWAY_TEMPLATE_LIBRARY is set to a (usually) nonexistent file name. File>Open from the Create Template dialog starts in the active design file directory.
Of course, a user could create a template library with that name in which case they'll pay for their mistake by having to navigate to the file they really want!
Is there an update to this issue now? I am getting very frustrated since I have to do this for each corridor I make and its soo non intuitive!
Hope you guys are working on a solution to this problem which was non existent in SS2.
