Hello, may someone help me please?
I have a survey that I have imported into MX and I have designed a new model which contains a couple of master strings with a vertical alignment, and when I hoover over the strings they show z=-999, how can I relate them to the survey so they are in a 3D plan?
I hope I was able to explain it properly.
Thank you in advance
Hi Helena,
Try use Drape option under design> Amend a String> Add Levels by Draping..
Select the MC string, Drape over a model>select triangulation model (tria)> tick Insert extra points at triangles edges.

I'm glad I was able to help,
You can tick the answer as "Suggest as Answer".
Kugan's suggestion means that your project profile is aligned with your terrain profile. There is no geometry.
If you want that a vertical geometry, you have to create a vertical alignment with Design/Alignment/Vertical alignment or, Quick alignment/vertical alignment.

Hi Alicia,
I have already created a vertical alignment, but for some reason they don't show a z coordinate.
Thank you,
Helena.
