I am having difficulty exporting SUDA to XML using the native exporting tools found under menu:
Subsurface Utility - Project - Export - LandXML
Each time I do it, it come up with "ReplaceMe-ProjectName stopped working" software error.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Versions using: PowerGEOPAK Select Series 4 08.11.09.878 with Subsurface utility Design and Analysis V8i
Thanks
I have not seen that before. You could attach your DGN file here and we can try and reproduce it.

Files had trouble uploading. Here is a dropbox link to the SUDA model and the terrain model that it is connected with.

This is the XML export. Note that there is no feature definition other than "Bentley drainage" for feature code, which is not a real feature in our libraries.
SUDAXML.xml
Sorry but currently the feature definition does not export other than Bentley Drainage, the feature definition is limited to the Bentley SUDA software and would not be used by other programs.
The how does one supposed to move data between DGNs? this is extremely limiting in the software. How do a request a ticket to get this fixed?
Maybe you can explain what you would like to share on how you would like to share it?
Currently you can send the dgn file or a copy of it and the other user can see your data if they have OpenRoads designer.
Publishing an iModel is another option. If the user you are sharing with does not have OpenRoads then the Feature Definition is not recognizable.
We are looking for the ability to move SUDA data from DGN to DGN so that multiple models can be made and more people can work at once. The reason for moving the data to a central DGN is that a singular hydraulic analysis can be performed. The program can not perform hydraulic analysis on utility networks when the data is spread across DGNs.
In addition, this data needs to be exported to an eventual asset management for the IL Tollway so that they have a comprehensive database of their entire utility network. If the original DGN is supplied, often that comes with issues as the original links need to be maintained to make the file stable. If the data can be exported and any dynamic link severed, then re-constructed into a new DGN with all its feature integrity, true accurate mile stone submittals can be performed for the data.
From your response, it sounds like the possible solutions are within ORD connect edition. Our project, the I294 corridor, is so large it can not simply shift to a new software. there are 85 companies working on this project, all have experience with Select Series 4 PowerGeopak. Therefore we need solutions that work within the current software.
