Delete a component from a template transition?

I'm using SS2 and Inroads 8.11.07.615. I'm working on fixing some discrepancies in my road surface. I've deleted some unwanted subgrade components from the templates, but pieces of the unwanted components show up in the transition. After examining the points in each template, the affected points are no longer a part of these unwanted components. A screenshot of the transition is attached. How can I delete a component from a template transition? I've tried editing it in the transition editor, but it deletes the asphalt surface (blue) component first. Is there a way to switch which component you are deleting? This occurs in several places so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried deleting the Transition by right-clicking on it in the Plan view window? Once it's deleted you can toggle it back on in the Template Drop dialog box. Then revisit the Transition Editor and see if it's okay. The Transition area was modified in an earlier V8i version to include "memory" but I find that it mostly causes crashing and retention of extra junk like you are experiencing.
