So I am using the Drafting Notes to make my work easier but I am not able to elongate the in-line leader of the "Place Plan Note". Right now the length of the leader is about 3.5 and I need it to be 7. Can anyone help me with this? I have been looking for a solution for a while now.
Which software / version is being used? Also, what is meant by "Drafting Notes"? Is that the Place Note tool you are talking about? Maybe an example file or screen capture would help.

to adjust length of in-line leader, go to
Dimension Styles setting > Text > Notes > In--line leader (image attached for your reference)

No I am not trying to use just Microstation. I am trying to create the note using Drafting Notes in InRoads. It seems that InRoads Drafting Tools is not associated with the dimension style. Any suggestions?

You should probably post this over to the Civil forum, since it is a Civil tool. And you're right - the InRoads Drafting Notes tool does NOT use any dimension styles. Which version of InRoads are you using (SS2/SS4/ORD)?
