I see how to use this tool and it does work but how do I get crossing utilities to show the pipe and annotation automatically when viewing the road profile? I thought I had it set but I cant seem to figure it out. Been struggling with this all day.

Thanks Holly, the 3D cut tools is very usefull for crossing utility, but for parrallel utility it does not work, or maybe there is a trick to show something parallel to my center line in the 3D cut, maybe a 3D cut offset tools could be usefull?

Also the project profile to element tools only project the bottom of the pipe, I could then use the profile offset transition tools to create a dynamic offset of my projected pipe, but what if the pipe diameter change? And how can I show the manhole in my road profile?

You could use the Project Profile to Element tool to get the utility profile within the road profile view window. You could also use the Create 3D Cut tool get a view of the 3D in the profile view.
