Hello,
When creating plan & profile sheets, I create my plan and the shape for the named boundary created is on the drawing and stays, but when I do my profile, they disappear after my sheet is created.
I was wondering if there is a way to display those named boundaries in my profile view?
I'm using OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition, Update 3.
Thanks!!
Hello. I am having this issue as well. My construction Elements are on in the View Properties of the Profile View and the profile named boundaries are still listed in the Named Boundaries Manager. Any idea what else could be causing this issue?
I just figured out this issue. Posting here in case others run into it as well. I believe the issue happened in that I opened a profile view (say view 4), which was different than the profile view those profile named boundaries were created in. I always use the right-click > view control to set my views based on what I want to see (plan, 3D, XS, profile, and any combo of those), so I'm not sure how it might of changed, but I believe it did. In my profile view where those named boundaries should have been, there is an in icon called "Attach All Profile Views". If you click that, it appeared to reassociate my profile named boundaries to that profile view. Worked for me. Hope this helps someone who might run into this issue.
The button mainly works when referencing profile Named Boundaries that were made in a separate dgn. I assume that's were those are coming from... The plan view Named Boundaries can be referenced directly from another file, but for some reason Bentley has the profile Named Boundaries setup to require that button to bring them in for use in that separate file.
